In its conception, nature uses the most effective Materials and Geometries to construct high-performance designs whose study has the potential to open many new opportunities in the fields of Technology & Engineering. This thesis aims to provide a computational solution to automatically produce an infinite range of parametric hierarchical honeycombs in just a few seconds, allowing to investigate different mechanical properties via FEA simulation as well as tests on 3d prints. In addition, this thesis presents a medical application using these geometries, a software that generates custom-made braces, perfectly adapted to each patient, based on a 3d scan and according to the preferences of the doctor constructed upon the hexagonal structures studied in the same study.
