dc.description.abstractIn the present thesis the parametric study of heat exchanger efficiency has been investigated with the use of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). The current thesis deals with the parametric investigation and the impact of various flow parameters and geometrical characteristics of the heat exchanger on the heat exchanger efficiency. The actualization of this investigation has been made with the use of CFD. For the modelling of the flow field, the design and the parametric investigation, a commercial CFD software was used. Having three values of Reynolds number (Re=4x104, Re=105, Re=1.5x105) that correspond to different mean velocities of x-direction, the influence of turbulence intensity in DP (pressure difference) and DT (temperature difference), corresponding to the inlet ant the outlet of the computational domain, for different tube heat exchanger arrangements has been investigated.en
