The rapid evolution of 3D printing technology stands at the forefront of innovation in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. This review outlines a comprehensive investigation into methodologies for the 3D printing of human neuronal cells, a pursuit that synergizes with the transformative capabilities of bioprinting technology. Bioprinting, and its potential to fabricate scaffolds, cells, tissues, and organs with reproducibility and high accuracy, serves as a pivotal element in advancing the frontiers of neuroregenerative therapies. Bioprinting technologies offer unique advantages and face distinct limitations.
